Megan Caton is an actor currently based in Los Angeles, after spending three years working professionally in Chicago's diverse theatre, on-camera, and improv community.
Megan worked professionally in the ensembles of Ferndale Repertory Theatre and North Coast Rep before attending UC Davis to study Dramatic Arts: Acting and Comparative Literature. There she worked alongside and trained with Broadway director Stafford Arima, the Old Globe’s Miles Anderson, and television director Sarah Pia Anderson. It was at UC Davis where she honed her skills as an actor, singer, and dancer while gaining a firm foundation for her craft through the study of Shakespeare, physical theatre, Viewpoints, film acting, clowning, and devised work.
Since graduating, Megan has worked steadily in theatre, television, and independent film in both Northern California and Chicago; including various roles at Santa Rosa, CA's Summer Repertory Theatre, a Festival of New Plays at Chicago Dramatists, two independent feature films, and principal roles in two national television commercial spots.
Megan has also begun directing and writing, and her work was featured at the "Best of Chicago" showcase at the historic Music Box Theatre. You can see her directing and writing at galaxymapsfilm.com.
